Backstage News On Will Ospreay Hitting A Pedigree On 'Triple H' At Pro Wrestling Eve Multiverse Rumble

Will Ospreay made a surprise appearance at Pro Wrestling EVE Multiverse Rumble on February 7, appearing in the namesake match to hit a pedigree on Anita 'Triple H' Vaughan. Ospreay was then eliminated by Rayne 'Rayne-O-Mac' Leverkusen.

According to Fightful Select's Corey Brennan, the pedigree was a late addition to the Multiverse Rumble after there were last-minute pull-outs from the match. The spot was considered a fun non-canon moment for the 518 fans in attendance, and only that.

Following a clip of the pedigree surfacing on social media, some online fans perceived it to be a jab at Triple H over the brief war of words between the WWE Chief Content Officer and Ospreay in early 2024 after Ospreay opted to sign with AEW instead of WWE.

Behind the scenes in Pro Wrestling EVE, Ospreay was the director of the broadcast and a producer for several matches at Multiverse Rumble. Fightful noted that Ospreay has been a producer in the promotion since April 2024 and he has been a part of the promotion's creative team since October of 2024.

Will Ospreay's partner Alex Windsor is a regular for Pro Wrestling EVE. She faced Jamie Hayter in the main event of Multiverse Rumble, losing to the AEW talent.
