Backstage Update On Jade Cargill Amidst WWE Absence

The current status of Jade Cargill has been one of the biggest mysteries in recent weeks. After being attacked on Friday Night SmackDown and written off WWE programming, conflicting reports emerged regarding her status and whether or not she was legitimately injured. 

There were reports indicating that the whole thing was a work and that Cargill wasn’t actually injured, whereas others suggested that she could be out of action for as long as a year due to neck issues. The truth may lie somewhere in between, but there has been nothing definitive on that front as of yet.  

PWInsider have offered some insight into what Cargill is doing during her time away from WWE, however long that may end up being. They have been told by WWE sources that Cargill is now working on some outside projects amidst her absence. Additionally, Cargill is currently in Nassau in the Bahamas on a vacation. 

On this week’s WWE SmackDown, Cargill was officially stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, with Naomi stepping in to take her place alongside current champion Bianca Belair.
