Dec 15, 2024
At TNA’s Final Resolution event on December 13 at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia, Hammerstone was scheduled to team up with Jake Something to take on the teams of PCO & Sami Callihan and The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) in a triple threat tag team match. However, Hammerstone was pulled from the match ahead of the show, leaving Jake Something to compete by himself in the bout.
It was noted at the time that Hammerstone had suffered from an injury, but there were no more details provided by Hammerstone or TNA at the time. Following Final Resolution, there has been some more insight revealed on his condition. On social media, Hammerstone provided an update via video, noting that he was scheduled to undergo surgery, but the injury wasn’t a major one, and he wasn’t expecting to be out of the ring for too long.
PWInsider had noted that at the recent Turning Point PPV, Hammerstone suffered a knee injury during the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match were the loser has to wear a turkey suit, leading to some of the match needing to be reworked on the fly. Hammerstone hasn’t competed since this match.
