Bayley And Johnny Gargano Match Teased For WWE NXT
Mixed tag team action...
At the NXT Year-End Awards, Johnny Gargano was awarded the NXT Match Of The Year and the NXT Rivalry Of The Year for his battles against Adam Cole.
Soon after, Gargano tweeted that this was the third time in the last four years that he has been involved in NXT's match of the year. After tweeting about his 2019 awards, the former NXT champion wrote: "Which also means..I've been involved in the @WWENXT Match of the Year 3 times out of the past 4 years."
SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley took exception to Johnny Wrestling's tweet, however, replying: "Which ALSO means.........when we were there, you didn’t stand a chance!!!!!!!! #dastandard #darolemodel," accompanied by two images of herself and Sasha Banks receiving their 2015 NXT Match Of The Year awards.
Following this, Gargano teased a Mixed Tag Team match between themselves as he wrote: "But I didn't sign with the company until 2016? I do have an idea to settle all of this though..You know where we'll be on Wednesday Nights," alongside two images of himself & Candice LeRae and Bayley & Finn Balor.
The Horsewoman seemed to like this idea, simply replying: "You're done for."
