Bea Priestley Done With Stardom

Priestley made the announcement after her match on Sunday

Stardom hosted the Yokohama Dream Cinderella 2021 event yesterday in Yokohama, Japan, an event that saw Utami Hayashishita defeat Bea Priestley to retain the World of Stardom title.

After the bout, a tearful Priestley took the mic to not only bid farewell to Stardom, but Japan as a whole. Priestley recently also finished up with NJPW, being written off TV by real-life boyfriend Will Ospreay in a segment that has received a fair amount of criticism online from fans.

Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has reported that Priestly decided to leave Japan a while back, with a her next move likely to be to the USA. Having been released from AEW due to Covid travel restrictions in August 2020, speculation therefore suggests that Priestley could be on her way to WWE instead, but so far Priestley has been silent on her future plans.

Priestley originally turned WWE down in order to sign with AEW, with WWE allegedly offering Priestley a spot in NXT UK.
