Becky Lynch & Finn Balor's 'Massive WWE Announcement' Revealed

While it had been teased that WWE's Becky Lynch and Finn Balor would be making a "massive announcement" on Off The Ball at 7 pm tonight, the announcement has actually already been made, and it isn't a WWE pay-per-view in Ireland.

Balor and Lynch appeared on Ireland AM on Friday morning and revealed that WWE Monday Night Raw will air from Dublin for the first time on January 25, 2027. The show will air from Dublin's 3Arena.

Off The Ball's Will O'Callaghan has since confirmed on X/Twitter that Raw will be airing from Dublin in January 2027.

WWE have held several house shows at Dublin's 3Arena since 2009, and the company aired the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown from the Republic of Ireland's capital city on August 22, 2025.

There had been hopes from Irish pro wrestling fans that the "massive announcement" would be a WWE pay-per-view in Ireland, possibly a 'Clash in Ireland' event, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

WWE WrestleMania one day taking place in Ireland is reportedly considered a "long-term project", however, after Kilkenny councillor Maurice Shortall claimed earlier this year that Ireland was well placed to host WWE's biggest show of the year.
