Becky Lynch To Miss WWE Superstar Spectacle Over Passport Issue

WWE Superstar Spectacle will not feature Becky Lynch due to passport issues

WWE are set to return to India this weekend for the Superstar Spectacle event in Hyderabad, but they will be without Becky Lynch.

Lynch was advertised for the show and featured on the event poster, but a passport issue means she has not travelled to India, with Lynch posting the following on X/Twitter:

"I’m sorry to all the fans in Hyderabad, India. I was so excited to perform for you - but as there was a tiny tear in my passport l have not been allowed to board my flight. @qatarairways."

Superstar Spectacle will be the first WWE event held in India for over six years, with WWE’s last visit to the country coming in 2017. It is unknown what Lynch would have been doing at the event, with the likes of John Cena, Seth Rollins, Imperium, Rhea Ripley, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and many others slated to be in action.

Lynch’s last match came at Payback on September 2, with Lynch defeating Trish Stratus in a steel cage, definitively ending their feud.
