Becky Lynch Told Asuka About Pregnancy Ahead Of May 2020 WWE Raw Announcement

Becky Lynch has revealed she told Asuka about her pregnancy prior to her publicly disclosing it on WWE Raw in May 2020.

Lynch relinquished the Raw Women's Championship on the May 11 2020 episode, the night following Money In The Bank 2020, revealing she was taking time off due to her pregnancy. The Man would reveal that Asuka, who won the Money In The Bank contract the evening prior, had actually won the vacated Raw Women's Title.

The Empress Of Tomorrow's reaction to the news that Lynch was pregnant was one of pure elation, in what was one of WWE's most heart-warming moments of the year, and Lynch herself has now revealed she had given Asuka the heads up despite her not being meant to know ahead of the segment.

During a press junket in London, Lynch revealed: "I told her just before. It was a great reaction. She wasn't supposed to know. I wasn't supposed to tell her. I really like Asuka."
