Bianca Belair Returns On WWE SmackDown

Bianca Belair has been absent from WWE programming ever since the August 18th episode of Friday Night SmackDown after being on the receiving end of an attack from Damage CTRL members Bayley and Iyo Sky, allowing Belair to take some time off from WWE programming. Her leg was targeted after being “injured” during a SummerSlam Women’s Title bout against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. 

She is now back in the mix on the blue brand, returning to the show on last night’s episode. The main event of SmackDown saw Iyo Sky defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair, successfully surviving with the gold thanks to some help from her pal Bayley. The pair would go on to attack Flair after the bell, only for Belair to emerge and make the save to a big ovation. 

Belair and Flair had been forming somewhat of an alliance prior to her being written off TV, with this angle seemingly suggesting that they will continue their fight against a common enemy, despite having previous issues themselves.
