Logan Paul will challenge Rey Mysterio for the US Title
Logan Paul returned to WWE on last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown after an excursion to the boxing ring, and he targeted championship gold straight away. After defeating Dillon Danis at last week’s Misfits boxing event, he called out Rey Mysterio and stated that what he wants next is the United States Championship. He recalled their history in which Paul defeated Mysterio in his very first WWE match back at WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz to score the win over Rey & Dominik Mysterio.
The pair came face to face on SmackDown, with Paul stating that he needs the US Title. Mysterio bit back and said that Paul reminds him of his son - talented and oozing with potential, but possessing a big mouth. He went on to accept the challenge, revealing their title match will be taking place at the Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia on November 4th.
It was an expected announcement, but it is now official for the event.
