Roman Reigns To Appear On SmackDown Next Week For Contract Signing

It was revealed over the weekend that at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia, Roman Reigns will be back in the ring to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for the first time since SummerSlam, this time against WWE’s fastest rising star, LA Knight. After being endorsed by John Cena last week, Knight confronted the Tribal Chief, setting up a feud which had been teased for a little while.

On last night’s SmackDown, Paul Heyman began tearing down Knight, promising that Roman Reigns will “smash” him so violently that he will never wrestle again. Heyman didn’t get many words out though before Knight himself emerged and came down to the ring. He gave his own speech, detailing how he will keep vying for the title and for Roman Reigns until he has won it.

Knight announces that a contract signing will be taking place on next week’s show so he and Roman Reigns can come face to face before their clash. It was made official shortly after.
