Report: Ace Steel To Have IMPACT Tryout

Ace Steel will be working with IMPACT this weekend

After being let go from AEW around two months ago along with his friend CM Punk, Ace Steel is getting back into the professional wrestling sphere rather quickly.

A report from PWInsider has revealed that Steel will be in attendance at IMPACT’s Bound For Glory event tonight, working in a producer role for the show. This will be a tryout opportunity for Steel, who will be hoping to do a good job. He has apparently been on IMPACT’s radar for quite some time, with the company previously wanting to hire him after his initial AEW firing following the Brawl Out incident, though his return to AEW when CM Punk came back to TV put a stop to that happening.

IMPACT have wasted little time in trying to get their man, offering him a spot at Bound For Glory. This follows up rumours of IMPACT also offering out feelers to CM Punk, who is currently a free agent. Steel has plenty of experience as a producer, working in that role in AEW and also working behind the scenes in WWE as a coach.
