Big Boom AJ, Little Justice and The Rizzler, AKA the Cocsto Guys, celebrate in the ring following AJ's victory at AEW Full Gear 2024

Many years ago, Big Boom AJ wrestled on the US independent Scene (primarily in the Northeast).

Though he walked away from the business, his viral fame as part of The Costco Guys has seen him make a return to the ring and he was successful against QT Marshall on the AEW Full Gear Zero Hour broadcast (despite breaking his foot early in the bout).

Speaking with RJ City for a new episode of Hey! (EW), Big Boom AJ detailed why he initially stopped wrestling, saying:

"Well, because if we had all we had right now, the Internet, where you could really reach everyone, I would have stayed in wrestling. At the time, I went as far as wrestling as I really wanted to go, because without being on the road so many days a year...I have so much respect for professional wrestlers. Being on the road over 200 days a year, at the time, television was really only the opportunity. But now that we have all this, we're able to bring the boom!".

Following his match with Marshall, AJ noted that he will continue to work with AEW in some form going forward.
