Big Change Made To WrestleMania 40 Match

The go-home episode of Friday Night SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania 40 saw the last minute build to the major two-day event, and it even saw a direct big change to one of the matches on the card.

In the last few weeks, it was announced that Rey Mysterio would be teaming with new LWO member Dragon Lee to take on the team of his son Dominik Mysterio and the leader of Legado Del Fantasma, Santos Escobar. On SmackDown last night, Lee was attacked backstage, leaving Rey to find a new partner.

Despite an ongoing relationship building with Dominik on RAW, Andrade aided Rey from an attack by both Dominik and Escobar, with it being revealed that he would be stepping in to take Lee’s spot on the WrestleMania card. It should be noted that once again, Carlito looked disgruntled with Rey’s choice of partner.

As of yet, the attacker for Lee has not been revealed, leaving this angle a mystery.
