Big E Says Ric Flair Reached Out After His WWE Title Win

Big E has revealed that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair reached out to him to congratulate him on winning the WWE Championship.

Big E cashed in his Money In The Bank contract on Bobby Lashley on the September 13 episode of Monday Night Raw, winning his first World Title in the promotion in the process and leading to the New Day member receiving lots of praise from fellow performers and wrestlers alike.

The 35-year-old has noted that a host of big names reached out to him to wish him all the best after his WWE Championship win, saying that Flair was the biggest name of the lot.

Speaking with Ebro in the Morning, Big E said: "There were a bunch of people who reached out. Trying to think of everyone, Ric Flair, I got a Ric Flair text. I’ll always pop at getting a text from him.

"I don’t know how he has my number. I think he found it from someone else but having Ric Flair reach out. He’s always been calling me. He’s always been real cool. He was definitely one that was dope."
