Billy Gunn Addresses Triple H Calling AEW A "P*ssant Company"

Billy Gunn reflects on Triple H's comments

AEW wrestler and coach Billy Gunn has commented on Triple H referring to All Elite Wrestling as a 'p*ssant company'.

Triple H made the comment as D-Generation X were being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the headline act of the class of 2019.

The crowd began chanting 'AEW' during the ceremony, which resulted in The Game retorting that Vince McMahon would 'buy that p*ssant company, just to fire you [Gunn] again'.

Speaking during a Q&A session at the For the Love of Wrestling event in Liverpool, England, Gunn spoke about his reaction to the comment, saying:

"I let it go strictly because my wife told me to [laughs]. When everybody starts chanting AEW at the Hall of Fame, he's got to try and shut it down somehow and whatever goes through his head, goes through his head, I'm not in control of that other than I could have punched him in the mouth. It's what it is. I'm gonna bypass that".

Gunn was hired to work as a trainer for NXT in December 2012 and was released in November 2015 (after failing a test for performance-enhancing drugs at a non-WWE powerlifting event).

He signed with AEW in January 2019.
