Two of the top women's talents in WWE NXT won't be leaving the brand for the main roster in the near future.

Rumours in recent weeks had noted that WWE had discussed calling up Blake Monroe and NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne to Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown. Fightful Select has reported, however, they aren't expected on the main roster imminently.

Blake Monroe had been the reigning NXT Women's North American Champion, but she lost the title to Thea Hail in an unplanned title change on December 16 after having the wind knocked out of her following a springboard senton, which meant Monroe didn't get her shoulder up in time. A rematch was originally booked for NXT New Year's Evil, but the match was cancelled after Monroe attacked Hail before the match and was then ejected from the building.

Fightful noted the decision to not have the rematch between Blake Monroe and Thea Hail was not a last-minute change and had actually been in the works for a couple of weeks before New Year's Evil.

BodySlam has reported that new NXT plans for Monroe are now in place and she will be part of the Tuesday night show until at least Stand & Deliver in April.

Jacy Jayne remains the reigning NXT Women's Champion and she had an impressive 2025, which included a run with the TNA Knockouts World Title alongside her NXT Women's Title wins. Jayne has been featured on NXT since 2021.

A number of talents have moved from WWE NXT to the main roster in recent weeks, including Trick Williams, Je'Von Evans, and Jordynne Grace. Oba Femi, meanwhile, vacated the NXT Championship after his win at New Year's Evil and he will be joining the main roster.
