Blake Monroe Under Consideration For WWE Main Roster Call-Up

Blake Monroe could soon be on her way to the WWE main roster.

Fightful Select has reported that WWE have discussed calling up the former Mariah May. A move has been under consideration in recent weeks, and some on Raw believe Monroe will end up on the brand.

Discussions within WWE have also suggested that Blake Monroe's immediate plans could be changing, even as soon as this week. Monroe is booked to challenge Thea Hail for the NXT Women's North American Championship at New Year's Evil on January 6.

Monroe was originally scheduled to still be NXT Women's North American Champion, but she dropped the belt to Thea Hail as part of an unplanned title change on December 16.

Hail ended up winning the belt after hitting Monroe with a springboard senton, which knocked the wind out of the former Mariah May and meant she didn't get her shoulder up when the referee counted the pinfall.

There have been multiple call-ups to the WWE main roster in recent weeks, with Trick Williams being assigned to SmackDown, while Je'Von Evans has joined Raw. Jordynne Grace is also currently being promoted as a free agent on the main roster.
