Minor changes have been made to the structure of the creative team within WWE to slightly change up how the department functions.
According to PWInsider, Ryan Ward - the former writer of NXT and SmackDown - is now overseeing creative for both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, which was a "recent adjustment."
Paul "Triple H" Levesque remains the head of WWE creative as WWE Chief Content Officer and he retains final say over WWE creative, something which he has had since 2023 after Vince McMahon's removal from creative by Ari Emanuel.
Beneath Triple H are Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey, and they handle operations for the creative team. Road Dogg and John Switaka are the co-lead writers on SmackDown, while Jonathan Baeckstrom and now Alexandra Williams are the co-lead writers for Monday Night Raw. Beneath them are additional writers on Raw and SmackDown.
This differs from WWE NXT, which features Shawn Michaels in a key creative role as WWE Vice President of Talent Development, while Ryan Katz is the Director of NXT Creative Operations.
Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, meanwhile, has Triple H with the final say, but key figures include Jeremy Borash, The Undertaker, Konnan, and Dorian Roldan.
