'Board Of Directors' Introduced At Latest ROH TV Tapings

A new ROH ‘Board of Directors’ has been introduced at the latest TV tapings

Since Tony Khan took control of Ring of Honor in early 2022, many wondered how he’d be able to effectively run both ROH and All Elite Wrestling. Well it seems that issue has been solved - on TV at least - as ROH introduced its new ‘Board of Directors’ at the most recent TV tapings.

This board will consist of Stokely Hathaway and former ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn, and will serve as the on-screen matchmakers/authority figures for Ring of Honor with only Tony Khan himself able to overrule them.

A report from PWInsider states that the two are kayfabe matchmakers only, and that Khan will still be running ROH TV tapings from the back, as well as continuing to take the lead on booking and administrative duties for ROH.

Reports have suggested that Ring of Honor will soon be taped during the AEW Collision sessions when the AEW Saturday night brand debuts on June 17. Since being relaunched in early 2023, ROH TV tapings have either occurred as bulk taping sessions from Universal Studios, or have been completed as part of AEW Dynamite sessions.
