Bobby Fish Injured During WWE NXT

He had to be replaced by Roderick Strong during the match

As reported yesterday, one of the headline matches on Wednesday's NXT was a Tag Team Championship match between The Undisputed ERA and Keith Lee & Dominik Dijakovic. The competitors have been feuding for the past six weeks. This only intensified on Saturday at NXT TakeOver WarGames, where Lee & Dijakovic emerged victorious as part of Team Ciampa.

Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish started the contest for The Undisputed ERA. However, in the early stages of the match, Fish was body slammed to the outside onto his tag team partner. During the landing, Fish's head awkwardly bounced off the floor.

Following the incident, NXT went to an ad break, and when the show returned Roderick Strong had taken Fish's place, wrestling in pants and black Converse.

It didn't appear to have been an angle and there was genuine concern about Fish's health. PWInsider reported that WWE thought Fish may have suffered a head injury, and removed him from the match as a precaution.

They did add that Fish appeared to be okay after the show, and was walking around chatting to people backstage.
