Bobby Fish Returns On WWE NXT

He was last seen at NXT TakeOver: WarGames

After five months away from WWE, Tuesday's NXT saw the return of Bobby Fish.

The former NXT Tag Team champion made his long-awaited comeback after Kyle O'Reilly's match with Oney Lorcan. Lorcan and Pete Dunne unleashed a beatdown on O'Reilly after the bout, prompting Fish to come out to aid his former tag-team partner.

O'Reilly would thank Fish for his assistance but would point out that he's focused on doing his own thing now, having found success as a singles competitor following the dissolution of the Undisputed Era. Fish suggested that he had his own scores to settle and would see O'Reilly down the line.

Tuesday's episode of NXT was the first time Fish has been seen since NXT TakeOver: WarGames when he, O'Reilly, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong defeated Pat McAfee, Dunne, Lorcan and Danny Burch in the titular match. The 44-year-old required triceps surgery following WarGames, keeping him out of action.

The state of play is drastically different for Fish since his last appearance. The Undisputed Era has imploded, with O'Reilly defeating Cole in an Unsanctioned Match at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver last month, while Strong has not been seen since resigning from WWE NXT.
