Bobby Fish To Challenge For AEW TNT Title On 10/6 Dynamite
An outside challenge to the new champion
Former Undisputed Era member Bobby Fish will be in attendance at this coming Wednesday's AEW Dynamite in Philadelphia, challenging for the AEW TNT title that was won tonight by Sammy Guevara.
Fish tweeted, "I’d like to congratulate the new TNT Champion @sammyguevara and be the first to challenge him for that title. Ready to walk through the forbidden door!"
Guevara accepted the challenge during the premiere episode of Rhodes to the Top.
Guevara won the title on Wednesday night from Miro in the main event of Dynamite in Rochester. He pinned Miro following a tornado DDT, GTH, and 630 splash.
Fish held the NXT Tag Team titles twice as part of The Undisputed Era. After four years with WWE, Fish was released from the company on August 6.
The card for Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, taking place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, is as follows:
* AEW TNT: Sammy Guevara (c) vs. Bobby Fish
* Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and The Young Bucks vs. Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus
* Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb
