Booker T Misses WWE NXT Vengeance Day

Booker will be out of action for the next couple of weeks.

Booker T was not on hand to help call last night's NXT Vengeance Day.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer was absent from the show and will not be available for the next couple of weeks after undergoing a medical procedure.

Writing on X prior to Vengeance Day, the 58-year-old said:

"I will not be at #NXTVengenceDay tonight and I'll be off TV the next couple weeks due to a medical procedure I had to have. But - I'm all good and I'll be back in action on @WWENXT in no time! Thank you all for your support, couldn't do it with out the people. Shucky Ducky!"

Booker did not disclose what type of medical procedure he had. Wade Barrett joined Vic Joseph at the announce desk for Vengeance Day.

Perhaps the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion will use some of his time away from NXT to work on the script about his life. Or perhaps he will hit the campaign trail on behalf of Ken Shamrock and The Nasty Boys, both of which he has lobbied for WWE Hall of Fame inductions in recent times.

As well as lobbying for their Hall of Fame inductions, Booker has also been outspoken about his desire for WWE to sign free agents Alex Hammerstone and Jacob Fatu
