Booker T Reveals How Ivy Nile's Reality Of Wrestling Booking Came Together

Why is Ivy Nile able to take a booking outside of NXT?

Booker T has opened up about the process of getting WWE NXT star Ivy Nile to appear for his Reality of Wrestling promotion.

Nile will wrestle Promise Braxton at ROW's show on February 11.

Speaking on his The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker noted that he simply asked for and was granted a favour, saying:

"I want to put it on record, I asked a favour for a NXT talent, someone who is one of my favourites, Ivy Nile, to be able to come to Reality of Wrestling and get in the ring with someone who I think may have next-level potential. I was granted that wish, and I appreciate that".

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer stressed that at no point did he claim that there was an official partnership between NXT and Reality of Wrestling.

Shawn Michaels recently confirmed that Nile's booking was a 'one-off' and that other NXT talent will not be able to take independent bookings. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer did say that other companies had been in contact with WWE about potentially using NXT stars on shows in the future.
