Booker T: WWE's Roman Reigns Is The Number One Guy In Professional Wrestling Right Now
The Tribal Chief has been on top in the last 12 months
Booker T has proclaimed WWE's Roman Reigns as the 'number one guy' in the wrestling business today.
Reigns has undeniably done the work of his career in the last year in WWE. His 'Tribal Chief' character has become the cornerstone of Friday Night SmackDown, while the 'Head Of The Table' reportedly has big main-event matches with the likes of John Cena and The Rock to come in the near future.
Two-time Hall Of Famer Booker T believes Reigns is performing at the very highest level and also has the ability to pull other superstars up to his level when competing.
Speaking on the Rasslin' with Brandon F. Walker podcast, he said: "I've said for the last three years that Roman (Reigns) is the best guy in the business, just because he's a guy that goes out and performs at a very, very high level.
"But everyone that work(s) with Roman, they have their best match. They come up another level. They may not ever have a match like that ever again but when they're in there with Roman, Roman goes out and does everything he needs to do from a professional's perspective, from a general's perspective, to make everything about the match and give the fans what they want.
"So, he's my guy. He's the number one guy in the business right now."
