Braun Strowman Exploring 'Different Avenues' Following WWE Departure

Strowman departed WWE in June

The former Braun Strowman says he has used his time since leaving WWE to 'explore different avenues'.

Adam Scherr - known as Strowman during his time in WWE - was surprisingly released by the promotion in early June as a result of what the company described as 'budget cuts'.

The former WWE Universal Champion has been heavily linked with a move to IMPACT Wrestling now that his 90-day non-compete clause has expired and Strowman says he has taken advantage of the opportunity to figure out what he wants to do next.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the 'Highspots Virtual Gimmick Table' podcast, Strowman said: "I was very fortunate in my time in WWE, but it was very time consuming, I didn’t have a lot of time to do other things.

"Now in my downtime, I’m trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. I get an opportunity to go out and explore different avenues, try different things, and I’m enjoying it.

"Definitely miss being in the squared circle though, I promise you that."
