More Details Around Riddick Moss' WWE Return Reportedly Emerge

Moss aligned with Happy Corbin on WWE SmackDown

Riddick Moss made his return to WWE television on last week's Friday Night SmackDown and now more details about his comeback have reportedly emerged.

Moss aligned himself with Happy Corbin on the blue brand, attacking Kevin Owens. The 31-year-old has not been seen on WWE programming in over a year, and was drafted to the Raw roster during the 2020 WWE draft.

According to Fightful Select, despite Moss technically being a member of the red brand, the decision was made to move him over to SmackDown and get the ball rolling on the storyline involving him and Corbin this past week.

Moss never featured on Raw due to injury, and with another draft happening in less than a week, it was determined that there was no harm in kicking the storyline off this past Friday.

Moss' absence had been down to an ACL injury, requiring him to take a significant portion of time off. It is also noted in the report that Moss worked a number of matches throughout 2020 with the injury, something which 'shocked and impressed' the WWE official that Fightful spoke to.
