Bret Hart Returning To WWE For Raw Season Premiere

WWE Raw season premiere will feature return of Bret Hart

WWE are set to hold their ‘season premiere’ of Raw on September 9, with two-time WWE Hall of Famer Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart set to appear on the show.

Raw is set for the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada - Hart country - with WWE’s Jackie Redmond announcing Hart’s return on social media:

“I can officially confirm through some very legitimate sources that this Monday, on the season premiere of Monday Night Raw, Canadian legend Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart will be at the Saddledome in Calgary,” said Redmond.

Hart’s role on Raw has not yet been revealed, but with CM Punk’s unabashed love of ‘The Hitman’ then it’s expected that Punk and/or rival Drew McIntyre will cross paths with the ‘Excellence of Execution’.

The multi-time former WWE Champion was last featured on a WWE broadcast in 2022, with Hart front row for Clash at the Castle. Bret has had a high profile love/hate relationship with WWE over the years stemming from the infamous Montreal Screwjob in 1997, and recently said that former chairman Vince McMahon can ‘rot in hell’.
