Brian Pillman Jr. Makes WWE In-Ring Debut

The newly-named Lexis King made his WWE debut this weekend

Brian Pillman Jr. recently announced his rebirth as Lexis King in WWE NXT following his signature from AEW over the last few months. On NXT TV, he has been given vignettes which showcases him trying to brush off the past and forge his own identity in the business, which explains why he is shedding the Brian Pillman name. He stated that when people look at his face, he wants them to think of him and not his father.

On Friday night, he made his in-ring debut for WWE at an NXT live event. In Largo, Florida, he took on NXT wrestler Brooks Jensen in a winning effort. He followed this up last night with another victory at a live event in Winter Haven, Florida, this time over Riley Osbourne.

The newly christened Lexis King was a part of the Varsity Blondes tag team alongside in AEW, but failed to do too much in the tag division. The highlights of his time in AEW included a brief feud with MJF where the pair battled at Dynamite: Grand Slam.
