Brock Lesnar Advertised For Upcoming Episodes Of WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar's next WWE appearances are scheduled to take place in September, it has been revealed.

WWE.com is now advertising Lesnar for the September 12 edition of Friday Night SmackDown from the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia and the September 19 episode of SmackDown at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Lesnar's advertised appearances will serve as the build to a planned John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar match at an as-yet-unannounced WWE pay-per-view in Indianapolis, Indiana, which will take place on September 20, the same day as AEW All Out.

Lesnar took out John Cena with an F5 in the closing moments of SummerSlam in his first appearance on WWE programming in two years. Lesnar had been off WWE TV due to being named in Janel Grant's sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE.

WWE's legal department cleared Lesnar to make a return to the company in the weeks before SummerSlam, although there has been no change in Lesnar's status within Janel Grant's lawsuit.

The programme with Lesnar will serve as one of John Cena's final WWE feuds as the 17-time world champion will retire at the end of 2025.
