Brock Lesnar Vs. Drew McIntyre Confirmed For WWE WrestleMania 36

Can The Scottish Psychopath dethrone The Beast...

At the Royal Rumble, Drew McIntyre cemented himself as one of WWE's top stars as he eliminated WWE Champion Brock Lesnar from the Men's Royal Rumble match. After The Beast Incarnate eliminated 13 Superstars, McIntyre took advantage of Ricochet's low blow and hit a Claymore Kick on Lesnar, sending him sprawling over the top rope. The two stars then engaged in an intense staredown as the WWE champion made his way to the back.

The Scottish Psychopath eliminated five more competitors on his way to victory in the Men's Royal Rumble match, earning himself a Championship match at WrestleMania 36.

While many assumed McIntyre would face Lesnar after their altercation on Sunday, he officially challenged The Beast Incarnate to a match at The Showcase Of The Immortals on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw.

The former Intercontinental champion then went on to defeat The O.C's Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson later in the broadcast. While he celebrated his victory, Lesnar, still angered from being dumped out of the Royal Rumble match, charged to the ring and delivered an F-5 to the challenger.

Soon after, WWE confirmed that Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This will be the Scotsman's first World Championship opportunity since making his WWE debut in 2007.
