Brody King Debuts On AEW Dynamite, Aligns With Malakai Black

The House of Black gains a new member

Brody King debuted on Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite in Raleigh, aligning himself with Malakai Black and assisting him in a mass beatdown.

After Penta El Zero Miedo defeated Matt Hardy in a singles match, he and Alex Abrahantes called out Black, after the events of last week. The lights then went out, preceding Black appearing in the ring. He delivered Black Mass to Abrahantes, before brawling with Penta. This brought out The Varsity Blondes, who joined Penta in the attack.

Though surrounded by the three, Black began laughing, leading to the lights going out again. When they came back on, King was standing in the ring. He and Black then decimated Penta and the Blondes, culminating with Black and King delivering a gourdbuster throw-powerslam combo on Griff Garrison.

King's debut was preceded by a vignette several weeks ago, in which Black was seen with a shrouded individual that many interpreted to be King, based on his visible tattoos.

King achieved free agency from Ring of Honor at the end of 2021. He'd wrestled for the company for the previous three years, and is a former Tag Team and Six Man Tag Team champion there.

In PWG, King teams with Black as The Kings of the Black Throne, and they've reigned as Tag Team champions since September.
