Bruce Prichard & Michael Hayes On Leave From WWE
What is going on with Bruce Prichard & WWE?
Nov 7, 2024
Bruce Prichard and Michael Hayes are on temporary leave from WWE, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.
Bruce Prichard is currently away from the company due to a family emergency, while Michael Hayes is taking time off because of personal issues.
Both men will be back with WWE but the temporary leave is said to be for an indefinite period of time. Their absences have no relation to Vince McMahon, Fightful Select noted.
Bruce Prichard remains a key figure in WWE creative, working directly under WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. Prichard has been a part of WWE over multiple stints since 1987 and was a close confidante of Vince McMahon's to the point he defended McMahon until two days before Janel Grant's sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince, WWE, and John Laurinaitis was filed.
Michael Hayes remains a key figure in WWE creative, in particular with Roman Reigns' programmes. He is usually the producer of Reigns' matches but his absence meant James Gibson produced The Bloodline vs. Roman Reigns & The Usos at Crown Jewel. The Bloodline ultimately won that match, with Solo Sikoa pinning Roman.
In Michael Hayes' absence, Paul Heyman remains heavily involved in the current Original Bloodline vs. New Bloodline feud.
