Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon will play a key role in Donald Trump's transition team as he returns to the White House.

Trump was elected as the 47th president of the United States on Tuesday, becoming the first convicted felon to ever win a presidential election in the US.

President-Elect Trump has 75 days before his inauguration on January 20, 2025 to build the team for his administration and PBS News reported that Linda McMahon is the co-chair of Trump's transition team along with Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick. Other key figures on the team include Robert Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump.

Linda McMahon has long had close ties to Donald Trump and she served as the Small Business Administrator from 2017 until 2019 during Trump's first term. McMahon is currently the chair of the pro-Trump America First Action super PAC and she was a major donor to the Trump campaign. McMahon is also on the Board of Directors of Trump's social media platform, Truth Social.

Linda McMahon has not been a WWE executive since 2009 but she remains connected to the company, including attending WrestleMania 40 earlier this year. She was sued as part of a new lawsuit related to the ring boy scandal in October.
