Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake Completes WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2019

The ceremony takes place the night before WrestleMania 35...

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake is the final member of the WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2019.

The news was initially reported by PWInsider last week, thanks to New York City radio station WHTZ 100.3 FM running adverts to try and push tickets sales for the Hall Of Fame ceremony. Despite not being officially announced for the hall, Beefcake's name was in there.

Sports Illustrated managed to get the following comment from Brutus on his induction: “This is the culmination of a lifetime’s worth of work. I’m grateful to the WWE, and I cannot wait for the tremendous honour.”

Beefcake represented WWE between 1984 and 1993, arriving with a male stripper gimmick before finding his most notable success as 'The Barber'.

As well as hosting the iconic 'Barber Shop' interview segment, Brutus also won a WWF Tag Team Championship alongside Greg "The Hammer" Valentine before jetting off for WCW.

The Barber joins DX (Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, Chyna, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn), Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray), Torrie Wilson, The Honky Tonk Man and The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart) in this year's hall.
