Bryan Danielson is set to be out of action for six to eight weeks after The American Dragon revealed he sustained a fractured forearm during his match with Kazuchika Okada at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. There is hope Danielson will be back in action in time for All In on August 27.

Speaking during the post-Forbidden Door media scrum, Danielson also revealed he sustained multiple injuries in his Iron Man Match with MJF at Revolution in March.

"I was planning on wrestling on Wednesday this week. I don't think that's going to happen because, in this specifically, we think I fractured my right forearm with about 10 minutes left to go. Talking to our doctors, and I love the AEW medical staff and trainers, they think it's going to be six to eight weeks for this specific injury. The stuff after Revolution and the Iron Man Match with Max, I had a torn labrum and then some compressed vertebrae. That's normal wrestler stuff. I'm fine. We just thought, for a precautionary measure," Danielson stated.

Danielson believes he suffered the injury following a Flying Elbow from Okada as Bryan didn't have his elbow in a safe place.

The former ROH World Champion ended up defeating Okada by submission in the main event of Forbidden Door. Danielson made his way to the ring for the match to Europe's 'The Final Countdown'. Tony Khan has since revealed the song being used was just a one-night thing unless he can get a good deal for the rights to use it.
