Report: WWE Raw Match Possibly Planned For NXT Star

A top WWE NXT star might be in action on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw from Savannah, Georgia. 

According to Better Wrestling Experience, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes could potentially be booked in a match on Raw against a main-event level talent. There is no word on who Hayes' opponent might be. The NXT Champion has wrestled on the main roster before, but only in matches on Main Event, which is taped before Monday Night Raw. 

Hayes is currently in a feud over the NXT Championship with Baron Corbin, with the two talents scheduled to face off on June 27 during night two of NXT Gold Rush. A number of main roster talents have appeared on NXT over the past several weeks as WWE looks to re-establish NXT as a third brand. 

Segments announced for WWE Raw include a women's Money in the Bank summit, Dominik Mysterio calling out Cody Rhodes, and Seth Rollins addressing his condition ahead of his World Heavyweight Title match against Finn Balor at Money in the Bank. WWE's next pay-per-view is scheduled to emanate from The O2 in London, England on Saturday, July 1.
