Bryan Danielson Makes Possible CM Punk Reference On Social Media

AEW's Bryan Danielson has seemingly referred to CM Punk on social media, following the latter's WWE return.

AEW's Bryan Danielson has made a possible reference to CM Punk's WWE return, yesterday tweeting:

"My dad always told me, 'The right thing is often the hardest thing to do.' It won’t always make the most money. It won’t always be the most popular. But it’s still the right thing. #AEW ❤️"

Many in AEW have been tight-lipped regarding Punk's shock appearance at WWE Survivor Series WarGames on Saturday night, and although Danielson hasn't mentioned him by name, parallels will surely be drawn between the wording of the post and the circumstances of Punk's WWE return.

Punk also appeared on last night's Raw, cutting a promo to close the show and announcing that he was "home." In a separate, earlier segment, Seth Rollins reacted to "CM Punk" chants by referring to him as a "hypocrite."

At the conclusion of Survivor Series WarGames, Rollins was seen at ringside furiously responding to Punk's surprise entrance. It has since been widely-reported that this was a work, leading many to speculate on the possibility of a clash between Punk and Rollins at next year's WrestleMania.
