Bryan Danielson's AEW Collision Injury Confirmed To Be A Work

Bryan Danielson’s recent AEW Collision injury a work

Bryan Danielson has suffered a series of injuries in 2023, and fears emerged that Danielson could once again find himself on the injured list after a hard hitting clash with Andrade El Idolo on the upcoming edition of AEW Collision.

Danielson and Andrade wrestled as part of the Continental Classic Blue League on a special pre-recorded edition of Collision (recorded December 5 for a December 9 broadcast), with Danielson bleeding above the eye and being attended to by the Blackpool Combat Club and ringside medical staff.

However, a report from Fightful Select has quashed any fears, with it revealed to have been part of the plan. Danielson recently suffered an orbital bone injury during a match with Andrade in late October, with Danielson working whilst wearing an eyepatch - a nod to his historic Ring of Honor run in the mid-2000s.

‘The American Dragon’ has worked his eye injury into an angle with Kazuchika Okada, with Danielson set to wrestle ‘The Rainmaker’ in the Tokyo Dome on January 4 for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18.
