Bryan Danielson's First AEW World Title Challenger Revealed

Bryan Danielson's AEW All Out challenger revealed

Bryan Danielson's first challenger for the AEW World Championship has been revealed.

Danielson addressed his pro wrestling future in the final segment of AEW Dynamite, revealing that he will retire as a full-time wrestler when he loses the AEW World Title. Danielson stated he didn't plan for that to happen anytime soon, though, and that he would be a fighting champion.

'The American Dragon' then issued an open challenge for All Out which was quickly answered by Jack Perry, who argued in a video that he deserved a title shot as he pinned Danielson in the Anarchy in the Arena Match at Double or Nothing earlier this year. The video was ultimately a distraction as Perry suddenly laid out Danielson from behind and ended Dynamite standing tall with both the TNT Championship and AEW World Title in hand.

Bryan Danielson vs. Jack Perry has yet to be made official for All Out but it appears to be little more than a formality. All Out will emanate from Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, September 7.

Jack Perry has twice challenged for the AEW World Championship before, unsuccessfully on both occasions. He first lost to Kenny Omega in the Summer of 2024 before a Four Pillars Four Way at Double or Nothing 2023 where he failed to dethrone MJF.
