Bryan Danielson Vs. Zack Sabre Jr. Rematch & More Set For NJPW New Beginning In Osaka

Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr. at NJPW New Beginning in Osaka!

A major rematch will be a headline match at New Japan Pro-Wrestling's New Beginning in Osaka on February 11.

The promotion has announced that Bryan Danielson will wrestle his third NJPW match of the year at New Beginning in Osaka in a rematch against Zack Sabre Jr. The two best technical wrestlers in the world faced off for the first time in 14 years at AEW WrestleDream in October 2023, with Danielson picking up the win on that occasion. Hostilities were renewed at NJPW New Year Dash on January 5 when TMDK defeated the dream team of Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Kazuchika Okada, and Tomohiro Ishii, with ZSJ challenging Danielson following the contest.

New Beginning in Osaka will be main evented by the first Steel Cage Match in NJPW for 20 years when United Empire and Bullet Club War Dogs clash in Will Ospreay's final match as a full-time New Japan talent.

Two title matches have also been announced for the show. El Phantasmo and Hikuleo will defend the IWGP Tag Team Titles against Bullet Club's Chase Owens and KENTA, while Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tomohiro Ishii will put the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles on the line against TMDK's Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste, and Kosei Fujita.
