Bryan Keith Had A Worked Injury On AEW TV To Cover For A Legit Broken Orbital Bone

Bryan Keith had a fake injury to cover up a real injury

Bryan Keith's worked arm injury on AEW programming was done in order to cover for 'The Bounty Hunter' having a legitimate broken orbital bone, according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live.

"The answer is he actually was injured. Whenever he had that match with Shibata he broke his orbital bone. So he actually was out of action for six to eight weeks. Whatever injury he had on TV, that was a work, but he was actually legitimately injured because he had a broken orbital bone. He just got cleared," Alvarez said.

Keith had his arm in a sling on AEW programming shortly after he joined the Learning Tree at Double or Nothing. Keith removed the sling soon after, though, during a post-match beatdown from the Learning Tree, revealing the arm issue was all a ruse.

Keith ended up vacating the DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling Title due to the injury and some questioned why he did so for a worked issue. Keith was actually legitimately injured, however.

Bryan Keith would have suffered the broken orbital bone during the Three-Way against HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata on the go-home edition of Dynamite before Double or Nothing.
