Buff Bagwell has been at the centre of controversy.

The former WCW star has developed a growing fanbase in recent months from posting progressive tweets and supporting the LGBTQ+ community on his Twitter account and this ultimately endeared Buff to some fans. It emerged earlier this week, however, that Bagwell's Twitter account was being run by Michael Long, who is allegedly a registered sex offender by the name of Javan Miller.

There were also issues over merchandise as fans had paid for merch and then never received the items.

Buff addressed the issues in a YouTube video and after plugging an upcoming docuseries he is making with Diamond Dallas Page, Bagwell claimed Michael Long "dropped the ball" on merchandise before he apologised to fans. Bagwell also claimed he did not receive any money from merchandise sales but he did not outright state that fans would be receiving refunds from Long, only that Buff would "get to the bottom of it."

Bagwell then confirmed that Michael Long has a criminal record, which he did not know when Long was hired. Bagwell also stated he does not condone what Long has done in the past.

Furthermore, Bagwell claimed he is a big part of his social media as part of a team before he stated that he "supports anybody that's happy in their lives" when addressing his support of the LGBTQ+ community.
