Bully Ray: Hangman Page Shouldn't Win The AEW World Title At Full Gear

Hangman's night could end in tears

Over two years since he first challenged for the title, Hangman Page will face Kenny Omega at Full Gear on November 13 as he looks to become only the fourth AEW World Champion in the promotion's history.

All Elite Wrestling have been slowly building to what looks set to be The Anxious Millenial Cowboy's coronation for the last year, but Bully Ray believes the company should hold off on crowning Hangman as champion.

"I would say to stick with Kenny right now," the WWE Hall Of Famer said on Busted Open Radio. "That's just my own personal opinion. I'm not gonna say if Tony decides to switch it's the wrong decision, or this or that. Listen, booking is all about feel also. There are Xs and Os that go with it but it's also all about feel.

"Do I feel it's the right time for Hangman? I'm gonna say in nine days? No. I would like to see Kenny get more heat on Hangman or them come up with a way to get more heat on Hangman."

One idea Bully pitched was for The Elite to lay out Dark Order "mafia-style."

Beyond the AEW World Title match, the next challenger for the gold will also be determined at Full Gear when Bryan Danielson goes one-on-one with Miro in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament Final.
