Cal Bloom (Von Wagner) Appears On AEW Dynamite

Come Toosday may be dead, but 'come Wednesday' lives after the former Von Wagner Cal Bloom was spotted on the March 26 edition of AEW Dynamite.

The former NXT star was spotted in an AEW polo shirt during the broadcast, with Bloom acting as security during a brawl between Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs. There’s no word on whether this was just a one off or whether Bloom will make any in-ring appearances for All Elite Wrestling or sister promotion Ring of Honor.

Since being released by WWE in April 2024, Bloom has wrestled just one match, picking up a win over Shay Diesel at an MAW show on March 15.

The son of Wayne Bloom - aka Beau Beverly - Cal Bloom was part of the NXT 2.0 generation, debuting on the show in September 2021 after being signed to a WWE developmental deal in early 2019. Becoming a cult favourite as Von Wagner due to his ‘come Tuesday’ promo on NXT, Wagner was eventually released after five years in WWE, with WWE management not having plans for the second generation star on the main roster.
