Carlito Officially Added To WWE SmackDown Roster

Carlito has officially joined SmackDown

After months of speculation, Carlito finally made his WWE return, with the former Intercontinental Champion joining Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar against Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits at Fastlane.

Now it has been revealed that Carlito has officially been added to the SmackDown roster, and his profile has been moved to the active Superstars section of WWE.com. Carlito joins the LWO on Friday Nights, and it’s presumed he will be working with the group going forward.

‘Mr. Caribbean Cool’ returned to WWE at Backlash in Puerto Rico earlier this year, with reports soon emerging that the second generation star had signed a new deal with WWE. Carlito was then set to re-debut on the July 7 edition of SmackDown from Madison Square Garden, but this did not materialise.

Carlito was originally part of WWE from 2003 until 2010, picking up the IC Title, US Title, and unified the WWE and World Tag team Championships with brother Primo as The Colons at WrestleMania XXV in 2009.
