Cary Silkin Claims Ric Flair Owes Him $41K For Unfulfilled ROH Appearances

Former ROH President Cary Silkin says Ric Flair owes him $41K after several no-shows in 2009

Former Ring of Honor owner Cary Silkin claims that Ric Flair owes him $41,000 due to unfulfilled ROH appearances in 2009.

The revelations came about due to Flair engaging in a war of words with Dutch Mantell on social media, with Mantell criticising Flair for his Last Match in 2022, and taking issue with Flair’s brags that he earned $300,000 for his part in the divisive bout.

Silkin then took to Twitter to side with Mantell, saying the following:

“Sorry folks every word @DirtyDMantell is saying about @RicFlairNatrBoy is true. Flair owes me 41k from not fulfilling 4 @ringofhonor appearances in 2009. Yes I was a moron to pay Ric up front. That's my story and it's sad but true.”

Flair signed a multi-show deal with ROH in 2009, but failed to make several dates due to a fall-out with Silkin. Silkin and ROH would sue Flair for monies owed in 2010, but Silkin dropped the lawsuit when he sold ROH to Sinclair Broadcasting in 2011.

Flair is yet to respond to Silkin’s claims.
