Cedric Alexander's first bookings since his release by WWE have been made official.

United Pro Wrestling have announced that Alexander will be in action at the 'Ready or Not!' event on May 10 in New Bern, North Carolina. Alexander's opponent has not been revealed.

Prestige Wrestling have also announced that Alexander will be working UNIT3D, a co-promoted show with West Coast Pro and DPW. Alexander will be going one-on-one with another former WWE talent in Trevor Lee on June 1 at the Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles, California.

Cedric Alexander was released by WWE in February along with the likes of The Good Brothers, Authors of Pain, Giovanni Vinci, Elektra Lopez, Blair Davenport, Isla Dawn, and Paul Ellering. Sonya Deville was also told her WWE contract was not being renewed.

Alexander addressed his release, writing: "Thank you for the last 8 1/2 years! Being a professional wrestler has been a dream of mine since I could form memories and I will continue to do so till the good Lord says otherwise. #SeeYouIn90."

Whether Alexander will sign with another major pro wrestling promotion remains to be seen but the Hurt Syndicate were expected to push for AEW to bring in their former faction mate.
