Chad Gable Vs. Vikingo Set For WWE Worlds Collide

The next instalment in WWE’s Worlds Collide series is fast approaching, taking place on June 7 and emanating from the KIA Forum in Inglewood, California, the same day that WWE will be hosting the Money In The Bank PLE from the Intuit Dome. Over the weekend, WWE announced that LWO members Santos Escobar, Angel and Berto would be taking on the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide trio of El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano & Psycho Clown. A new match has now been announced. 

Someone who is reportedly to be the face of WWE’s crossover with newly acquired AAA, Vikingo, is set to do battle in singles action with Chad Gable. On WWE programming in recent months, Gable has been also wrestling under a mask as El Grande Americano, so it is no shock to see Gable appearing on this crossover card with AAA. It remains to be seen if his masked alter ego will also make his presence known. 

It was noted recently that WWE is planning Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) to drop the AAA Mega Championship prior to Worlds Collide, with the gold going to Vikingo instead. This means that this match could end up having the AAA Mega Championship on the line too.
